Commonwealth Games - Delhi 2010 - Baton Design - At Foley Designs we were up against other top agencies across the country to win the contract to design the CWG Queens Baton. I played the role of lead designer - the concept was to create an iconic symbol of 'India' - old and new'. We decided on using soil from around the country. This was a strong symbolic representation since the earth beneath us is timeless - It has seen the past, and will see the future. The soil pattern represents the vivid diversity of our nation and the world at large.
