Windows 8 is the most radical transformation of the most widely used product on planet earth since Windows 95.
David was the hardware design lead within the design team, from guiding the team's understanding of how to interact with software on tablets using thumb swipes, to writing the tablet design guidance for hardware partners.
David lead a six-person design team that reimagined the devices experience. He also lead the team to initially define the Metro settings experience, including the charm & settings application.
David also lead the design engagement with partners, running collaborative brainstorm sessions with key partners in the US & Asia.
