For this Savannah, Georgia Historic District illustrated map, I was inspired by all the beautiful colors of Savannah in spring. Because I'm a freelance designer, I usually have to change illustration styles from brand to brand. On this map, I used both Illustrator and Photoshop to do the vector artwork. I have been using both software since the 90s, so I'm able to work back and forth pretty interchangeably.
The buildings include Savannah College of Art and Design Armory, Green-Meldrim house, Mercer Williams house, Catherdral of St. John the Baptist, Tybee lighthouse, Bird Girl of Bonaventure Cemetery, Forsyth Park fountain, Asendorf house, Telfair Museum, Cotton Exchange, and many more.
