My Ir-Rational Shelf
In Psychology, everybody has both inner and outer selves. Inner self is the mental state, like though and feelings, outer self is the appear-phenotype, like how do you express yourself and what do you look like. There is not only human being with inner and outer selves, but also products. My Ir-Rational Shelf is a furniture set that based on inner and outer selves concept but presenting it in two extreme ways. Emotions can be assigned and created by interacting with objects, but most of us have difficulty noticing it. In this project, I want to touch off people’s emotions through visual perception, perspective and illusion and let the audience appreciate the emotions created.
