This assignment was to create a 2012
calendar by mapping space and time,
and using structures and systems that
reinforce the passing of time. I chose
to map space and time through a
process; the process being the recording
of weekly pizza night recipes. It
is divided up by season and then by
week. I created three different icons
for each season that helps emphasize
a seasonal pizza ingredient. The
graph paper look I created helps to
emphasize the process of making and
recording something. This is meant to
be interacted with on a weekly basis
as a recording device of pizza night
recipes; including the recipe’s name,
ingredients, and instructions. It could
then be used to look back on memories
or to simply use as a recipe book
of tried and true favorites. It is not
meant to record time, but more meant
to record a moment in time that the
user would want to remember.
