Kibum Park

Rooftop Glass House in NYC - In progress | This project reinvents the space at the top of a prewar building near Central Park. A huge, 4,500sf lawn surrounds what, in essence, is a modernist glass country house. A semi-enclosed private courtyard lined in glass provides a diorama -like view of a grassy hill and contrasts with an old water tank tower behind it. Large eaves play with section and viewpoints to give the illusion of a paper-thin edge.
