The indonesian culture is as vibrant and versatile as its landscapes and natural beauty. The richness is a result of the influence of various neighbouring countries and its own ethinic culture. Adventure looms large in this vast and steamy archipelago which emcompasses more than 17000 islands. Indonesia is majorly famous for its distinct style of architecture, its handiworks such as the batik and the puppet shows which are the main source of entertainment for the people. Based on these three, I designed the interiors of a room.
Incorporating the connection of the people with nature, I decided on a very eathy and soothing coloor scheme for the bedroom with a tinge of blue to add a little twist. The batik handiwork was shown on the side panels and the bed itself had bed posts to add a little sophistication and edge to the room. The mirror is shown having an etching of the puppet on it.
