I modeled the 3D interior graphics of this award for official presentation to the VFW. The graphics were laser etched inside acrylic.
For Sonny Eliot's award I modeled the 3D graphics and when the awards arrived I walked them into the auditorium asap just as the presenter was presenting. Unfortunately Sonny was ill and his nephew accepted for him. Most don't know, he was a B24 pilot during WWII. I thought he was just a motormouth weather guy in Detroit. It shows how wrong you can be.
