Designed and programmed an autonomous vehicle that would navigate itself through a maze through localization methods as well as avoid any obstacles. The chassis, hardware and gripping mechanism were designed in Solidworks. Design includes using ultrasonic sensors for wall detection, omni wheels for lateral translation and rotation and an arduino mega to be the microcontroller. The robot was programmed via bluetooth using Matlab and Arduino.
