Kevin Bannister

A new client wanted a logo for their photography business. Nature, simplicity, and balance were themes we wanted to convey, and we talked extensively about what he DIDN'T want the look and feel to be. He also wanted a Sequoia tree to be part of the design, to represent his personal passion for the outdoors. In playing around with the letter forms of his initials, I hit on one variation of the "V" in Velasquez that he really responded to, and after a number of variants we arrived at the final version you see in the composite image.
