Hytec sought the services of Kloop Studio to revitalize a stalwart of their tub | shower line. By targeting a booming Alberta builders market the goal was to interject increased functionality coupled with modern styling.
Our approach was to minimize the compromises of a typical tub | shower and focus on creating the best showering and bathing experience possible. This resulted in distinct zones within the unit that catered to the specific user tasks and unified them in the minimalist aesthetic of the Hytec brand.
We introduced a storage wall that transitioned from the higher functional requirements at the showering end to a usable bathing ledge at the other. In the tub, we re-introduced a superb lumbar support and by virtue of the bathing shelf being higher than the front threshold, the design conveys the sense of a deeper bathing well and more immersive bathing experience.
