University Design Project:

Designed and built a compressed air powered boat for a mechanical engineering competition using a point-optimization strategy, resulting in product capabilities that were specifically formulated for a winning score. This project involved strategic planning to maximize scoring capacity of design, accounting for budget limitations. There was extensive amounts of prototyping and material testing (specifically hydrophobicity and ductility tests). Fluid mechanics principles were applied during the design of the compressed air thrust system .
