Conceptual wireframes were prepared in "Balsamic Mockups" to explain the UI architecture and interaction patterns. These were validated with a select group of customers.
Detailed wireframes were prepared in "Balsamic Mockups" to explain the new interaction patterns. These were validated with internally available domain experts/ clinicians and whenever possible with select customers.
Collaborative Design: Hypothetical design created based on VOC analysis and contextual inquiry analysis was tested with Clinicians and iterated on drawing boards together. This helped gain a quick feedback and their confidence in the design process.
Contextual Inquiry was conducted to study & analyze the real work environment and usage patterns of assistant electrophysiologists and lab technicians in the observation room.

The customer was one of the world's leading manufacturer of electrophysiology diagnostic & treatment system. The requirement was to redesign the entire system to suit the usage patterns of the end users. The new design solution was required to be contemporary in experience and yet cater to all aspects of patient safety.
