Open Books, a non-profit organization in Chicago, is publishing a book geared towards adults with a low literacy level. "Chicago Tales" is considered a hi/lo publication, or high interest / low comprehension level. The idea is to create something to help low literacy adults gain reading skills with interesting, fun material. I illustrated the Zombie story. I called dibs on it.
