Silly Little Things - This piece was produced as part of a personal development module within my degree course. Having chosen to produce an illustrative book in response to the 'good advice' we are offered throughout life, this piece was my personal favorite.
Editorial Illustration: An Illustrative Response to The Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake - Having being given the brief to produce a series of illustrative responses to The Gormeghast by Mervyn Peake, I chose to represent Peakes characters through the use of objects identified with them. I chose to use evidence bags to group the objects together as this reflected the dark and sinister atmosphere created in the book.
Hen Night - This piece is one of a series of typographical responses to a text about the events of a hen night. I chose to respond to the prevalent themes of drunkeness and confusion, space and confinement and more predictably, masculinity and femininity.
