Streetmix empowers citizens to create and share street designs with each other and with city planners to effect change in their community. This app is intuitive, approachable, and – most importantly – fun. I guided the art direction and product vision with illustrations and a style guide. Streetmix is a collaborative effort with other 2013 Code for America fellows (Marcin Wichary, Lou Huang, Shaunak Kashyap, Ezra Spier, Marc Hébert, Anselm Bradford). Because this project is still a work in progress, there are some unfinished pieces, for example toolkit icons.
