Towards sustainability
Spatial creation of the community hub is inspired by Somali Culture where the elongated open courtyard that continues up to the second level of the building is intentionally created to promote interaction in order for the Somalians to blend in. The design of the building implemented a more sustain design strategy such as passive solar, water conservation and materiality to create a better living space for user.
