The Wild - 5th Year Studio
Prompt: Identify an issue/problem the students of the University of Kentucky are facing with their habitats and generate a solution that helps support community living.
Solution: The Wild is an interactive community center located on repurposed property in the heart of the residential zone of the University of Kentucky Campus. It features group study areas, a farmers market, roller rink, amphitheater and community lake. All components of this project were determined after a series of campus-wide surveys and research.
The main objective of this project was to bring students back to campus for their recreational activities, as the space for recreation is currently extremely limited.
