Ba Hons Architecture 1st Year Space, Form and Making - Light
For this project I was tasked to look my environment and capture the relationship between Light and Material. In this exercise, I explore this relationship further by becoming the manipulator of a material and investigating how it can modulate light. This light modulation exercise required me, after extensive experimentation, to come up with three models that modulate light, one that is scale 1:1, one at 1:5 and one at 1:20. Each expressing their light modulation, and function through their shape. Also presented here is my experimentation and design process including my final models.
