The goal for the interior design of Savor a multi-purpose coffee shop, organic food restaurant, and tea bar was to integrate the outside environment, by using oversized sustainable windows to create a green house effect in which the interior is naturally heated in the winter and cooled in the summer; and allowing for the surrounding lush green environment to be exposed. Sustainability was an important element for this project, with the use of recycled and reclaimed materials as finishes, and taking into consideration the guidelines to achieve a LEED certified interior design project. Overall the purpose for the interior design and architectural design of Savor was to integrate purely with the environment and therefor expose the natural beauty of the surrounding park that was part of the site.
