Ever wonder how other people think about their money? It's fascinating! Worked as lead content strategist and writer for a series of customer stories. They each pair the most interesting parts of real interviews with bite-sized financial education. Collaborated on about 20 stories, partnering with a Digital Lead, UX Lead, Visual Designer and Fit & Finish Copywriter.
We had to come up with very brief stories, pulling from far-lengthier interview transcripts. It was truly fun to figure out which themes we wanted to highlight, then pitch ideas for education that corresponded to the quotations.
This is an example of the educational content that complements each customer story.
This component comes from "About Us" content and is an example of the fresher twist on our brand's voice. We took dense page-length traditional writing and reworked that copy into quick-hit stories for the new website.
Sharing this as an example of how we handled a very complex story within a tight space. Our Digital Lead came up with very cool, tangible examples of how much you could stand to save. We came up with quick-hit descriptions, then expanded into a panel that explains the methodology.
We did our best to maintain the voice and simplicity of the story, even for the nitty-gritty details. Some of our best, most thoughtful content work is buried on the "How did we..." legal modals! No page went out without some content TLC.
This is my favorite component that I've helped to write. I think it tells a nice story and gives you a great impression of our brand, in a simple message.
We also did a series of profiles featuring our company representatives. We wanted to give an impression of who they were as people, beyond the workplace. We introduced them accordingly on feature components, such as this one.
