Concept submission- Call for art in the 2018 Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival SA at Mission San Jose. My colorful modular designed fabric sculpture is re-imagined as a passage to the famous rose window at Mission San Jose. Monarch Fields playfully draws the visitor in a procession across the lawn towards the mission. The journey marked by the colorful banners above, a horizon of color visually gesturing towards Mission San Jose.
