Metal Spun Tea Set
This tea set was designed to help transition a local metal spinning company out of
an ailing and uncompetitive industry into high quality artisanal manufacturing.
I proposed a collaboration with a local Botany based artisan deer product company called
1803 Australian Deer.
The tea set was designed so simple volumes could be spun or folded from high
quality stainless steel. The set includes a tea cup that is spun from a single piece of stainless
steel.
Each part is shrouded in treated and coloured deer leather to create a tea set unlike any other.
