Time and Decay
Shooting these images in a remote, abandoned village in western Bulgaria, gave me a persistent feeling of sadness. Walking down the empty streets, focusing my camera on the old, decaying houses, doors and windows, I couldn't help but wonder what was life behind these walls not long ago. At the same time, there was something charmingly graphic in the skewed corrosion of the elements, and for me this was worth taking a picture.
