Lagom

Lagom is a clothing hanger that is influenced by twenty-first century Scandinavian modern households. The word, Lagom, in Swedish means to encourage balance and mindfulness; it translates to: “not too little, not too much,” “perfect-simple.” Lagom experiments with the concept of having a storage-like product shift to being the design focal point in a room; storage as décor is a common Scandinavian modern trend. The steel frame consists of scalloped line with curvilinear, leather-clad, equally spaced hangers suspended from it for aesthetic purposes. Lagom was specifically designed to hold seven hangers to help organize and plan for the week ahead. The palette of Lagom is intended to imitate the hueless, neutral tones that Scandinavian countries are often currently known for.
