This villa is one of the programs proposed during my 1st university year. The site is a slope forming a square triangle shape that faces Douro river. The aim was to design a house for the kingfisher responsible to watch over the river. My proposal was a volume that occupies all the triangle space with two main floor ribbon volumes at different quotes connected by stairs and ramp elements. The entrance is done by the main road on the top of the site, where the public living areas are, including a glass office room at the highest point of the land and house made for the river vigilance kingfisher’s work. The most private programs, such as bedrooms, are on the lower floor . There are small patios between rooms in each ribbon, a bigger courtyard between the two levels that connect the two quotas and open to the living areas, corridors and stairs, and there is a main garden at the entrance opened to the living room.
