This was a personal project for a dear friend who got married this year. I wanted to make something for her that was as unique and thoughtful as she is as a friend. So I came up with this idea of making a personal jenga set for her and her husband. I laminated clear acrylic and walnut hardwood together to make the little blocks. On the front side is a graphic design I did and on the back are quotes from their friends and family, these were lazer cut on the materials first and then I cut them down to size. To make the words and design pop on the acrylic side, I painted the surface with white acrylic paint and wiped off the excess so the paint only stayed in the lazer embossed areas. I also made the box that holds the set together.
