View from the Mezzanine - LED theatrical lighting simulates sunrise to sunset in 12 minutes.
First, a digital model - 3D data drawn from several sources was check for accuracy and level of detail and geometric integrity. SLA beds were post processed and sent to several fabrication sites weekly over nine months.
Valuable asset - The 3D data is designed to be updated, enhanced and reused. Any city block can be called up by street address or latitude and longitude. Whether a building is removed, added or modified; the 3d model changes can be made and logged in a simple, inexpensive 3D program.
Chicago's Hidden Treasures - Individual blocks can be removed for separate display.
