TradeFirst 2012 Member Directory Cover - I centered this piece on an image of rising and falling stock prices, over which I created an illustration of a Escher-esque red zig-zag contrasted with a smooth blue arrow to reflect that in a time of economic turbulence, TradeFirst offers members steady growth.
TradeFirst January 2011 Florida Newsletter - A monthly newsletter sent out to over 5,000 members. I spearheaded a drastic redesign of the old-fashioned, overly corporate newsletter to reflect TradeFirst's ongoing commitment to growth, change and techological advancement. I replaced the tedious article on the front cover with a full page, full color image and a table of contents. My purpose was to change the look of the newsletter to reflect more of a magazine feel, to draw the reader in and make them excited about the contents inside.
TradeFirst August Michigan Newsletter - I used an image of a businessman on a bike to humorously illustrate how advertising during a downturn can help outpace the competition.
Inside Trader Newsletter Center Spread - "Fight Back!" - Print layout for the September 2010 Issue of Inside Trader, sent out to over 5,000 members of TradeFirst. The article described ways to stay competitive during economic downturns in order to beat the competition, which seemed to lend itself perfectly to a snarky, humorous spread of young business professionals duking it out like superheroes, complete with splashy sound effects giving pertinent advice like "Drive Traffic!" and "Build Marketshare!"
