• As Pant Design Lead, redesigned product in response to growing popularity of fitted, body-conforming protection over traditional hockey pants.

• Addressed concerns with previous product over heat ventilation, weight, and cost.
Lycra fabric of prior model replaced with an engineered wicking knit and a durable vent mesh to address heat ventilation.

• Fit adjusted from compression underwear to fitted short to remove excess velcro and straps.

• Kept prior tooling for main hip and thigh plastic caps with new die cut geometry, developed new cut-and-sew coccyx and kidneys for increased freedom of movement and used perforated foams around the hips and thighs for improved mobility and venting.
