Nonagon Childstool Prototype - Super Mario Graphics - As a child grows the furniture they have is usually replaced and thrown out. The Nonagon Childstool however grows with the child extending its life cycle. The stool can transform, lifting up 3 inches and rotating, locking into a new position to gain additional height to match the child's growth.

Nonagon Childstool Prototype - Super Mario Graphics - For this prototype I simply printed out the graphics on a large scale printer, glued it onto the side of the stool and trimmed it to the appropriate shape. In the final product the stool would be with by injection molded plastic and graphics would be silk screened on or laminated for a durable, easy to clean and child safe finish.
Super Mario Bros Graphics - The Nonagon's form lends itself to playful graphics and games. Graphics like Super Mario Bros can be applied where new maps can appear depending on the configuration of the stool. A line of children furniture can be further developed with different graphics where the child can play additional games like "Snakes and Ladders" or even crossword puzzles with new levels and word combinations.
