It was important that this project serve dual purposes, to act as a workplace as well as a destination for Girl Scout troops. The concept "All About the Girls" manifested itself throughout the space in bright, bold colors and activity based learning opportunities. As s you travel around the space, a patterned band of icons represents the many career paths that await these girls as they develop into adults.
The office's prime location across from Chase plaza provided an opportunity for an internal application with an external presence to the street level by digitally printing on ceiling tiles. The result is a gesture spanning the open workspace inspired by the Girl Scout sash with a pattern made up of trefoils at six varying sizes. This pattern injects a bold color in an unexpected location.
