I designed a young sidekick, Lasso Kid (shown on the right), to go with the existing character The Amazing Rope Guy (on the left) from the tv show WordGirl. Here is a picture of them together.
My full character turnaround for Lasso Kid, created in Flash. The character's parts are all organized in layers and nested according to the file organization and naming convention protocol of the studio, as if it were an official model sheet to be used for the show.
For character design practice during my internship at Soup2Nuts, I designed a sidekick to go with an existing villain character from the television show "WordGirl." These were some of my original ideas for Lasso Kid.

First try illustrating in Photoshop; a drawing of part of my room.
During my internship at FableVision Studios, I got to work on the "Choose Your Own Fable" Twitter campaign in which Twitter followers of the studio got to choose the direction of a story which we would tweet line by line, and illustrate as well. The starting point of the story was a young elephant named Clancy finding a piece of paper that said "How to build a rainbow." I drew the first illustration.
For one of the plot points in the FableVision "Choose Your Own Fable" Twitter campaign, followers had to choose whether Clancy would sneeze and bump into a tree, or slip on mud. I illustrated both options.
