Priest
This is an acrylic painting. It won 2nd place in the American River Student show. I was inspired by thinking about ancient Jewish priests. They had breast plates of stones to represent the different tribes of Isreal. I also had in mind cubism or modulation pioneered by Paul Cezanne and later expounded upon by Pablo Picasso. And beings its Jewish I have to give a "shout out" to Marc Chagall another one of my favorite painters.
