Brookstone - For three consecutive years, I created an attract loop for Brookstone's National Store Managers' Conference. As a Motion Graphics Designer, I like how these videos turned out. The montages created excitement and enthusiasm for the Brookstone brand and showcased new products for the upcoming Christmas season in innovative and playful ways. For this particular piece, I used a lot of lighting effects, edgy title design, rich textured backgrounds, archival footage and lots of energy.
Western Union - As Senior Art Director working on a small creative team consisting of a Copy Writer and myself, we created this online advertising campaign to increase awareness for Western Union's online Money Transfer service. With bold brand colors and striking imagery, the art direction draws attention with a successful increase in click-through rates. This campaign consisted of many banners and a Flash landing page with dynamically generated content.
Virgin Atlantic Airways - As Senior Designer, I lead the redesign of the Virgin Atlantic Web site and online advertising campaigns. What a great brand to work for! Virgin is irreverent and bold and fun. Advertising initiatives included Flash interstitials and banners that resulted in successful click-through and transaction rates.
FlipSide - FlipSide was created as a Web portal targeted towards teenagers and young adults. I created a brand identity and Flash interface that incorporated "spinning rollovers" and original music to appeal to the young target audience.
jimreed.net - Self promotion and personal web site. Design style and subtle motion inspired by early motion graphics artists Saul Bass and Maurice Binder.
