Brief - To design a mode of electrical powered transport for a holiday destination (Egypt).
The storyboard shows how the product would be used as an alternative to camel rides as holiday makers are advised not to go on camels due to the rising number in tour guide robberies.
A rotational moulded plastic body is placed over an axle. Two 12V batteries are centrally located underneath the back seat which powers an electric motor, thus turning the rear wheels. A family of 4 can be guided around the Pyramids at their own pace. Once you reach a destination, the on board speaker will activate a pre-recorded message about the destination. Once the batteries discharge, the user can hook up at various charging points whilst going off on foot around the tourist attractions.
