Kraken Mouse
The Kraken is an ergonomic computer mouse designed to flow perfectly with the contours of the hand, using ergonomics in their truest form to produce a smooth flowing body.
The body was produced using 3D scan data from a physical clay model, this reference data ensured the reproduction of the ergonomic form within the final 3D model. The combination of this scanning technology with additive manufacture allowed for the production of geometries which would not be possible with any other form of manufacture. The scaled detail for example, due to the complexity of the surface, would not be possible with the use conventional methods of manufacture.
