The project focuses on reaching nature visually and physically through a series of spacial motions reacting to specific media programs. Nature’s stimulus is reciprocated by a sunken library and the cantilevering auditorium, both having a visual advantage towards nature and a privileged physical position in the building. A conversation is initiated with the exhibit and the exhibited, the main gallery and the workshop. Both located at opposite poles are connected visually by a four story vertical beacon revealing the production process and artists. The unbroken flow from the public pathway invites the individual inside to experience the artistic, media, and nature layers’ unbroken flow.
