A humble stool with simple form that is so down to earth with a little touch of nature texture. A base with a strong and stable form gives a sense of trustworthiness and reliability. A little excitement and colours of batik cushioned which reflects Malaysian culture. The multifunction ability is applied to this furniture. The transformation of a humble stool to a standing lamp is surprising and exciting just like Malaysian lifestyle.
This competition given me the chance to enjoy the making process of my creation to life. Although it doesn't comes out as what I design due to the short time frame, but i am grateful enough that I did gained alot of fun experience throughout the whole competition. I am also lucky to get to know the other finalist as I really do admire their enthusiasm in design.

Malaysian lifestyle is so different with many other countries. It seems to be so peaceful and down to earth which
people appreciated small little things around us such as, the culture, history, custom, festivals and natural resources
we have. Malaysians are also easily accept and adapt to any culture of other races which produces a society full
with harmony.
