ParkFEST Design Competition
Multi-school competition to design a park bench that combines and serves multiple
purposes (i.e., picnic bench, bike rack, trash can, etc.)
Design goals: Meet defined budget, use limited materials, easy to assemble, maintain aesthetically pleasing urban look.
Results: Our team design was chosen as winner by competition judges and a full scale prototype was created and implemented in Long Wharf Park in New Haven, CT.
