Here are some of the pieces I created for my breadth work in AP 2D Art during the fall of my senior year of high school.
I put this still life together with objects and a photograph that reminded me of a climbing trip I went on with some friends. Drawn with colored pencil.
This acrylic painting was done on canvas and illustrates the state of obliviousness (whether chosen or accidental) in which many people live in regards to the poor treatment of our environment.
Each initial of my name is illustrated with a space-themed object. Drawn with chalk and colored pencils on black paper.
An illustrated quote of Edgar Allen Poe's...one that I interpreted as more light-hearted than most of his work. Drawn with ink and colored with water colors.
I drew this piece for the AP Art mid-term. The assignment was to take an object and put it in a new setting (I chose a lightbulb). The line drawing was done pre-exam, but the shading was drawn during the 2 and a half hour exam period.
Self-portrait constructed of cut paper (8 layers).
For this project I was assigned 5 random objects to include in a scene. My objects were grasshopper, helicopter, space ship, wrench, and knife. Drawn with colored pencils.
This piece was created for a school art show with a "green" theme to it. I hand-cut stencils for the city-scape, airplanes, and the two children out of mylar paper. Painted with spray paints and acrylics.
