The Mobilarm Crewsafe V200 is a compact, easy-to-use submariner distress beacon that enables rescue forces to locate and track crew on the surface following a submarine escape or abandonment.
The project presented a number of engineering issues, including coping with extreme pressures of deep sea (450m below sea level) and interfacing with a complex escape suit.
My role in this project was primarily (lots of) concept generation, market research, product testing and supporting with 3D CAD and 2D engineering drawings.
