The Neo Buddy is a versatile portable barbecue designed for urban living. In depth user experience studies and observation discovered real user needs for flexible portability, waste control, easy clean up and simple operation. Through exceptional design implementation the NEO barbecue experience meets these needs and provides the ability to BBQ wherever people want to, from the patio to the park, the beach or to the boat.
The unique, user-focused design introduces a number of features that make portable cooking easy, healthy, practical, clean and affordable.
My role in this project included market research, concept generation, design detailing + 3D CAD, 2D engineering drawings, project management and production correspondence with Chinese manufacturers.
