Along with the recommendation to start from scratch, Arctic Cat eventually decided to engineer a new SXS from the ground up. Our team developed many ideas for the SXS reboot over the Prowler chassis that made it into elements of the Wildcat.

Arctic Cat SXS Vehicle Styling

Arctic Cat needed to develop a side by side all terrain vehicle that bridged the gap between their more utility focused product line and a new, sportier, vehicle that would appeal to riders who were focused on fun, which was a segment of the SXS market that Arctic Cat had not addressed at the time. Arctic Cat's engineering team approached WhiteBoard, looking for inspiration for their new design, which was originally meant to be based on their existing Prowler platform. After some difficult choices, Arctic Cat decided to start from scratch, but used many of our team's design cues to inform the brand new platform.
