Early Bird was a business start up myself and a team of friends created to compete in the UK China challenge, a nationwide start up competition with hundreds of teams and a possible £500k investment opportunity for the winner.
Our idea was an online shopping/market research tool which helped small businesses in the UK and Europe test their products in the Chinese market and for Chinese consumers to see the latest in luxury products before anyone else and pre-order goods at a cheaper cost than RRP.
Our idea got us to the last twenty teams and we were the only team not to be made up entirely of business students, and the only team with designers. Unfortunately we did not win but the experience was great fun, I met some good contacts and received a lot of advice and information from some great sources
