Here's the color branding I did for Kuali. They only had two colors before so I expanded their palette while keeping their theme.
I also fixed their out of date logo. It had rounded corners (yuck), stretched typography (gross), and inconsistent color (barf). They were very thankful that I was able to standardize everything for them.

Kuali Branding

This branding proposal was a quick and clean project I made over the course of two days. I chose to propose an update to Kuali's branding, as it hadn't been well thought out when the company was formed 10 years ago.

I chose to make a two-piece "fake" iron cross folding piece rather than a standard 8-page booklet. I cut and folded the entire print run of 16 by myself.

The writing content came from a writer on our team while the visual branding was my own with some help from my boss. I chose to revamp their out-dated logo as well as add three more complimentary colors to their color scheme (which was solely red and black). I also chose some typefaces for them to use (Avenir and Georgia Pro) as they had no specific typographic standards.

I took the initiative on this project because the fine folks at Kuali did not have the design resources necessary to re-evaulate their brand effectively. The Executive Director of Kuali loved this piece and she's glad to now have some solid branding.
