These are tattoos I designed. Descriptions are provided with each one. Most of these were inked in Adobe Illustrator. Also, it was always interesting to me how many people ask for trees...
Shoulder "Tree of Life" Tattoo - Digitally Inked in Adobe Illustrator.
This was a tattoo with a pretty complex description. The client wanted something that could fit from his shoulder blade to his upper arm. The parts he wanted drawn included a "tree of life," his family members, a Native American headdress, a medical symbol, and a lion's head. (phew)
"In Honor of David" - Inked in Adobe Illustrator, colored in Adobe Photoshop.
The client who asked for this design wanted to portray a religious transcendence from the earth to the heavens, in honor of a passed family member. (She then also asked me to "Add a heart, please!")
This is a sort of sketched "tattoo template" from which clients could draw ideas. Some people have a general idea of the kind of design they want as a tattoo, but can have trouble describing what they want. Again, people request trees VERY often.
"Typhoeus Face" - Inked in Adobe Illustrator, colored in Adobe Photoshop.
This client requests a bust to be placed on his shoulder. He wanted a white face based on the monster in the 1902 painting, "Hostile Forces the Giant Typhoeus" and to be wearing "Hindu Deity Jewelry."
Computer Tree - Micron Pen with Photoshop touch-up
This was originally made for a customer to use as a home page of a website, however he scrapped the website idea and used it as a tattoo for his back instead.
