With this project I was able to make a duplicate copy of a dial knob for a car radio. I started with an original part and created a 3D model of the part in Rhinoceros. I then used a Makerbot to 3D print the knob into PLA part. Then using finishing techniques was able to duplicate the look, and feel of the original knob.
