Sculpted deep relief hand engraving in Sterling Silver/14 karat palladium white gold Mokume Gane gives life to a Japanese themed scene of a Koi fish pond under a blossoming Cherry tree. Rose gold sculpted and engraved inlay brings out the blossoming flowers. The contrasting metals create visual depth and highlights on rocks to give the sense of light direction as well as clouds behind the blossoms. This contrast also brings out the texture of bark and fish scales. A new take on traditional materials and processes conceived,designed and created by Joe Worley for Green Lake Jewelry Works.
