An Earthrise scene. The human 'nauts are translucent to give more attention to the rover, which is the aesthetic focus of the illustration.
Ideation sketches & function planning for the rover before the final illustration. I strove for an aggressive appearance composed of simple shapes common in 1960s-1970s aerospace & manufacturing

Lunar Rover

Birthday illustration for my father. A rover on Earth's moon that can be propelled by electric hub motors &/or rocket engines. Downforce from the rockets is especially important since the moon only has 1/6th the strength of Earth's gravity. 2 human 'nauts flee a heist, maybe having stolen a present to give to someone.
